The USM Update - May 2018

In the season finale of "The USM Update" for the 2017-2018 academic year, USM President Glenn Cummings sits down with representatives from the University's nationally-accredited ASL/English Interpretation program, including Dr. Judy Shepard-Kegl, whose work around sign language and Nicaraguan schoolchildren has earned global acclaim. Cummings also discusses sustainability initiatives at USM — where they stand and where they're going — plus how USM's student Eco-Reps are making change on and off campus each day. Finally, we end the show by speaking with Bryan Waring, Melissa Cunningham and Jordan O'Hearn, three of USM's featured graduates who, like their own diverse backgrounds, represent the best of the University of Southern Maine.
