River Company is a small theater group in Damariscotta. We perform plays by a wide range of playwrights from major dramatists to local unpublished playwrights. Our productions are minimal, usually involving one set or even a bare stage. Most performances are in the Porter Meeting Hall of the Skidompha Library in Damariscotta, which accommodates a small audience of 60 or less and provides a chamber theater atmosphere.
