Recovery International Meetings for Mental Health

Recovery self-help group meets every Saturday morning at Maine Medical's Conference (Dana) Center at 22 Bramhall St., Portland, Maine. Very effective after-care for PTSD, anxiety, depression and fears. Member-led method was professionally developed by Dr. Abraham Low. Plant Sale Hosted by the Coastal Humane Society.

The Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick is holding its 10th Annual Weekend Plant Sale on Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th from 10 am to 2 pm. Public Works Celebration on May 19

CELEBRATE NATIONAL PUBLIC WORKS WEEK with Portland’s Department of Public Services WHEN: Sat., May 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. WHERE: The Gateway Shoppes at Scarborough, home of Cabela’s and other fine stores. WHAT: Kids can explore dumptrucks, bulldozers and other equipment. Games and giveaways include toy hard hats and balloons. Door prizes and snacks for the grown-ups.
